Oregon Treasure Trail Society Turns 30 This Year!!!

The next OTTS meeting will be on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012.

As announced at the March Meeting Russell Grau is stepping down as our Treasurer. Brian Lundquist has agreed to take over as Treasurer until we can find a permanent replacement. We are looking for anyone to do this, but we would really appreciate anyone who has not stepped up to help the club already. A few of us are already doing a lot for this club. If you want this club to continue to prosper we need everyone to help out. Please contact any of our Board Members below if you would like to nominate yourself for this position. This is a very important position in the club and if we can not get any one to fill it we will no longer have a club. Thank You...

Reminder!!! We will no longer be meeting at the Waverly Heights Church!!!

Our future meetings will be held at The Refectory at 1618 NE 122nd Ave. Portland, OR. The Map below will show the correct location. The meeting times will remain the same. You are encouraged to come early to order food and beverage...

We have reserved the location of our annual picnic again at Rooster Rock State Park. It will be held on Sunday July 29th at the usual location just east of the Park entrance. With the rising cost of precious metals, all donations to help supply silver coins and other prizes to plant in the field would be greatly appreciated. We want to keep the playing field fair for everyone!! So we will need a few volunteers who will "NOT" be hunting to help plant tokens and silver coins. They can be family or friends. We will provide food at no cost to the volunteers. We have had 1 volunteer so far so we are still looking for 2 or 3 people to help plant the field. Please notify Matt or Justin if you or someone you know would like to volunteer. Thanks!!

May goodies: Jenifer Crandell, Krystal French and Linda Williams

Sorry for the delay folks!! The May 2012 Newsletter is now available!!

About Us

The Oregon Treasure Trails Society was formed in 1982 when 5 avid hobbyists put $5 each into the kitty and started the club in an effort to provide an organization that would unite people together with the same interests in metal detecting and searching for coins, tokens and other small/interesting treasures of the past. Today, we continue to provide a wonderful environment for those interested in the great hobby. Our club provides an opportunity to get together with others and enjoy spending time at outings and sharing experiences. Everyone is welcome to attend one of our meetings.
